Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript for web applications, APIs, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure the creation of high-quality, testable code.
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quick and reliable feedback during development.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and work with developers to identify root causes.
  • Perform load testing , stress testing , and performance testing when required.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, plans, and scripts.
  • Continuously improve the automation framework to support new features and enhance testing capabilities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance for automation best practices.


Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in software automation engineering.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for automation development.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium , WebDriverIO , Cypress , or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins , CircleCI , or GitLab CI .
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end testing).
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git .
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, and reusable code for automated testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman , SoapUI , or RestAssured .
  • Good understanding of agile development methodologies and scrum .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling .
  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium or similar.
