Job Title: Production Manager / Operations Head Location: Kolkata Industry: Garments / Fashion (Exports & Domestic) Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and organized Production Manager / Operations Head to oversee the entire production process — from fabric sourcing and processing to packing and delivery. The candidate will coordinate with in-house production teams, vendors, dyeing and printing units to ensure timely, quality-controlled, and cost-effective output. Key Responsibilities: Plan, monitor, and manage the full production process to meet delivery deadlines. Coordinate with all production managers, tailors, sampling units, and external vendors. Oversee dyeing, printing, embroidery, stitching, finishing, and packing operations. Ensure production schedules are followed and materials are available on time. Maintain quality standards at every stage of production. Resolve production delays or issues and ensure smooth workflow between departments. Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely supply and workmanship quality. Work closely with the design, merchandising, and logistics teams for seamless execution. Maintain daily/weekly production reports and update management regularly. Ensure safety, discipline, and efficiency in all production units. Skills & Requirements: Strong knowledge of garment production processes — from fabric to finished product. Good coordination and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple units, vendors, and deadlines. Experience in handling dyeing, printing, and finishing units. Good understanding of quality control and export timelines. Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Textile, Apparel, or Production Management. 7–10 years of experience in garment manufacturing or export production, including team handling experience.
