Job Title: Vice President – Network Engineering (Diversity Candidates Only)

Location: Pune

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to lead our Network Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in designing, building, and testing network CORE products within a multi-vendor environment. This leader will be responsible for ensuring the robust design, lifecycle management, and testing of network technologies across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Network Product Design & Testing: Oversee the design, building, and testing of network CORE products, including F5 Big IP LTM/GTM, WAF, and Infoblox, for physical, virtual, and cloud environments. - Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of network technologies and products, including updating hardware/software versions (BUY/HOLD/SELL states), reviewing bug reports, and certifying HW/SW versions. - Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Provide guidance and support to the team on Technical Assistance Center (TAC) issues and product feature concerns. - Documentation: Lead documentation efforts for designing and updating build guides, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Confluence, and SharePoint. - Traffic Testing & Performance Optimization: Utilize traffic testing tools like Spirent and Ixia to ensure network efficiency and conduct performance, functional, and integration testing. - Cloud Connectivity & Virtualization: Ensure connectivity across AWS, Azure, and Zscaler cloud environments, and oversee the design/testing of virtualized network technologies using Hypervisors like KVM and ESXi. - Automation & Code Control: Utilize Ansible for automation and manage code version control using GIT. - Security & Logging Tools Management: Leverage SNMP-based tools like Spectrum, Cisco ISE (for AAA), Elastic Search (for logging), and other certificate management tools. - DevOps Integration: Drive a DevOps-focused approach, configuring network components using REST API, SSL, NETCONF, and managing data structures in JSON and XML. - DNS, DHCP, and NTP Management: Expertise in Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP configurations. - Network Routing & Switching: Oversee network routing, switching, and proxy management for efficient operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Network Engineering Expertise: Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, specifically in CORE products and multi-vendor environments. - Cloud and Virtualization Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, Zscaler) and virtualization (KVM, ESXi). - Lifecycle and Traffic Management: Proven experience in managing the product lifecycle and utilizing traffic testing tools like Spirent and Ixia. - Automation & DevOps: Skilled in Ansible automation, GIT version control, and DevOps practices, including API configurations and data structure handling. - Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, mentor technical staff, and manage cross-functional projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in network engineering, DevOps, or cloud platforms. - Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Diversity & Inclusion: A strong advocate for diversity and inclusive practices within technical teams.
