JOB SUMMARY

ARTICULATES BUSINESS AND FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS BY DEVELOPING SPECIFICATIONS FOR BUSINESS PROCESSING AND SYSTEMS ENHANCEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS. PROVIDES ONGOING BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT. ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT MATERIALS.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE OF A SPECIFIC AREA IN THE FINANCIAL AND/OR INVESTMENT INDUSTRY USUALLY OBTAINED BY EXPERIENCE IN RELATED AREAS IS REQUIRED TO DESIGN PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS AND TO PROVIDE SUPPORT. KNOWLEDGE OF SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITIES USUALLY OBTAINED THROUGH FORMAL TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE WITH APPLICATIONS IS REQUIRED TO ASSESS AUTOMATION POSSIBILITIES. ANALYTICAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS OBTAINED USUALLY THROUGH EXPERIENCE IN RELATED JOBS OR THROUGH FORMAL TRAINING IN SYSTEM ANALYSIS IS REQUIRED TO REDESIGN PROCESSES

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Strong VBA/Alteryx, Excel, and Access

Strong SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) and data modelling \

Strong Troubleshooting skills

Strong analytical skills and ability to perform data analysis

Strong Project Management skills

Good communication and documentation skills

Good understanding of full software life cycle development process

Be able to prioritize and manage users' expectations

Be able to independently manage time and tasks

Be able to work as part of a team, sharing responsibilities and knowledge across

Having VBA programming language – ability to write rich solutions with advanced data manipulation and user control will be advantage

MAJOR DUTIES

Able to learn and demonstrate the learning on Projects - Learn, Develop, Deploy and Maintain in SDLC Methodology.

Interacts with technology, product management, and operations to understand analyze, interpret and documents business needs into detailed requirements.

Articulates business and functional requirements by developing specifications for business processing and systems enhancement and development efforts; provides ongoing business and technical support. Assist in the development of training and change management materials.

Ability to quickly understand new systems.

Reviews existing systems, processes, and problems and recommends where system functionality, automation or improved processes can be implemented.

Act as a trouble-shooter. Conducts feasibility studies and defines and designs system requirements for complex data processing projects.

Prepares materials and manuals, and provides training to partners related to system or process changes

Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job. ▪ Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact

More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas

Delivers a work product that requires less revision

Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a busy workload

EXPERIENCE

6-9 years’ experience working in the Financial Service/Banking Technology Industry

Must have strong knowledge on Microsoft Suite (Access and Excel), SQL and RDBMS/Database knowledge (Develop, Deploy and Manage)

Having VBA, MS Project, Python and Share point Development will be added advantage

INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY:

24 months as a Technical Coordinator/Associate Consultant to move to Consultant.

12 months as Consultant/Team leader for a lateral movement.
