Job Overview:
The Regional HR is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role involves managing the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment across multiple restaurant locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Implement the recruitment process for all levels of restaurant staff, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to identify staffing needs and fulfill within TAT
- Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other sources of potential employees.
Training and Development:
- Implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Provide coaching and support to restaurant managers on employee development and performance management.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience.
- Implement and oversee employee recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or issues and recommend appropriate actions.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance appraisal process and ensure it is conducted fairly and consistently.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving employee performance and engagement.
- Assist restaurant managers in addressing performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage compensation and benefits programs for the region.
- Conduct salary surveys and analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports on Manpower availability, People cost, Attrition, productivity and training outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on HR data analysis
- Identify and implement HR initiatives that support business goals and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in the QSR or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple locations and a large, diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within the designated region as required.
