Purpose of the Position:

  • As a Data Science Consultant, you will be responsible to develop effective and high-quality program integrity analytics that meet business requirements.
  • Technical abilities include following Python coding best practices, performance tuning, unit testing and production support.
  • The gathering, structuring, and using of the data into models to be able to translate it into usable information for the traders is an essential part along the chain.


Key Result Areas and Activities:

  • Thought Leadership - Build and share experience and evidence-based thought leadership in the industry through various channels such as professional social media, blogs, white papers, webinars, events, and conferences.
  • Provide Sales Support - Support pre-sales activities including engaging prospects, conducting discovery workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, engaging partners, and supporting sales and marketing enablement with their functional and domain expertise.
  • Consulting for New and Existing Clients - Provide specialized advisory & consulting services to new and existing customers, share relevant advisories for customers, address unmet needs, expand relationships, manage client expectations, and maintain assigned utilization.
  • Systematically Develop and Maintain Offerings - Provide stewardship guidance to solutions aligned to the competency, that can be a core differentiator for InfoCepts. Support offering development and support its pilot implementation. Support to develop implementation methodologies, processes, templates, enhance and internalize for the prioritized solutions.
  • Support Organizational Strategy - Contribute to practice development including sharing and building expertise, nurturing and growing talent, capability and offering development, and corporate initiatives as assigned.
  • Support Project delivery - Support in delivering the Data Science project outcomes by collaborating with Data Scientists. Engage actively in Data Discovery, Data cleansing, Data Analysis, Feature Selection, and in building ML models for prediction systems.


Roles & Responsibilities

Work and Technical Experience:

Essential Skills:

  • Programming Skills Experience in statistical programming languages like R, Python, and database query languages like SQL.
  • Statistics Good applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
  • Machine Learning Hands on working experience in SageMaker and AzureML.
  • Hands-on experience with data science tools.
  • Data Wrangling.


Desirable Skills :

  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Masters degree is a plus).
  • Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods.
  • At least 11 years of IT experience; Minimum 7 years of experience in Python, R.
