Jobsummary The General Manager will be responsible forensuring the successful execution of solar projects ranging from1KW to 1MW capacity with a focus on efficiency quality and marketcompetitiveness.
KeyResponsibilities :
1.StrategicPlanning and BusinessDevelopment:
Developand implement strategic plans to expand the companys presence inthe solar energysector.
Identifynew business opportunities partnerships and market trends to drivegrowth and revenuegeneration.
Conductcomprehensive market studies and analysis to assess market demandcompetition and potential areas forexpansion.
2.ProjectManagement andExecution:
Leadproject planning execution and delivery for solar energy projectsranging from 1KW to 1MWcapacity.
Overseeall aspects of project lifecycle including site assessmentengineering design procurement construction installation andcommissioning.
Ensureadherence to project timelines budgets quality standards andregulatoryrequirements.
Manageproject risks resolve issues and implement mitigation strategies toensure projectsuccess.
3.Engineeringand TechnicalExpertise:
Providetechnical leadership and guidance on solar energy technologiessystems andsolutions.
Collaboratewith engineering teams to optimize design layout and performance ofsolar PVsystems.
Conductfeasibility studies resource assessments and technical evaluationsfor project viability andoptimization.
Stayupdated on industry best practices emerging technologies andregulatory developments in the solar energysector.
4.Procurementand Supply ChainManagement:
Overseeprocurement activities including vendor selection contractnegotiation and material sourcing for solarprojects.
Managerelationships with suppliers subcontractors and partners to ensuretimely delivery of materials andservices.
Optimizesupply chain processes to minimize costs reduce lead times andimprove projectefficiency.
5.TeamLeadership andDevelopment:
Recruitmentor and develop a highperforming team of professionals inproject management engineering andoperations.
Fostera culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvementwithin the solardivision.
Provideguidance support and training to team members to enhance theirskills knowledge andcapabilities.
6.StakeholderEngagement and RelationshipManagement:
Cultivateand maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clientsgovernment agencies regulatory bodies and industryassociations.
Representthe company at industry events conferences and meetings to promoteits capabilities achievements and thought leadership in therenewable energysector.
Requirements
QualificationsandExperience:
Bachelors degreein Engineering Renewable Energy Business Administration or relatedfield. Masters degreepreferred.
Minimum of12years of experience in the renewable energy industry with a focuson solar energy projects EPC installation and marketanalysis.
Proven trackrecord of successfully managing solar projects of varying scale andcomplexity from conception tocompletion.
Strong technicalexpertise in solar PV systems design principles performanceoptimization and regulatorycompliance.
Excellentleadership communication and interpersonal skills with the abilityto lead crossfunctional teams and collaborate effectively withstakeholders at alllevels.
Demonstratedstrategic thinking business acumen and ability to drive innovationand growth in a competitive marketenvironment.
Familiarity withrenewable energy policies incentives and regulations with a strongunderstanding of market dynamics and trends in the solar energyindustry.
