Job Description:
Desired Competencies:
Maintain cloud infrastructure, application, and database backup.
Configure and Maintain Server scaling and High Availability & Disaster Recovery
Discussing system and server upgrades with IT managers.
Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.
Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
Troubleshooting system and server errors.
Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
Managing user access.
Monitoring system performance.
Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.
Extensive knowledge on fundamentals of VMware/Hyper-V and related technologies
Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
Ability to create scripts in PowerShell.
Should have worked on Vulnerability closure.
Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in handling large setups with a good understanding of about Windows OS
Understanding of DR and BCP
Should have a good understanding of Storage and SAN technologies.
Should be able to work in shifts and travel across various location in India
Good communication skills to connect with end users / clients
Good To Have:
Proficiency in handling large setups with a good understanding of Windows OS, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
Understanding of DR and BCP
Certification in any of the above virtualization platforms
Linux server clustering (Veritas Cluster /RHEL /SUSE/Cluster/Pacemaker Clusters) & Solaris. UNIX
