Your Job The SAP Costing Consultant will be a part of an international team that designs, develops, delivers, and supports new applications for Koch Industries.
Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments.
Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function.
As KTC rapidly scales up its operations in India, it's employees will get opportunities to carve out a career path for themselves within the organization.
This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years.
Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant international exposure to the employees. Our Team This position will work with the Georgia-Pacific Enterprise Capability IT organization as a part of the Financials team.
The role creates long-term value through support of financial processes and applications.
The selected candidate should have hands-on experience configuring and supporting SAP FICO and demonstrate initiative, good economic-thinking, analytical skills, and a sense of urgency. What You Will Do * Troubleshooting customer reported issues and assisting users with day-to-day production support in a timely manner. * Gathering and analyzing business requirements; Translating requirements into functional and technical solutions. * Designing and configuring solutions in SAP COSTING * Strong experience in MTS production process - Cost object controlling, Metrila ledger , Actual costings, Result Analysis , Costing methodology. * Creating and maintaining functional specifications, configuration documents, test plans and other documentation. * Developing and executing test plans including unit and integration testing and coordination of user acceptance testing. * Working with business SMEs to deliver and support solutions. * Analyzing problems to provide solution alternatives and recommendations; Providing SAP thought leadership and SME expertise as needed. * Performing root cause and impact analysis, documentation, and training. * Working collaboratively with an extended team of functional and technical resources. * Participating in an on-call if needed. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in technology, accounting, or related field * Minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP Controlling -Product costing in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA * Functional / technical proficiency in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP -CO , MTS production process. * Strong understanding of SAP integration touchpoints between FI and SD, MM, and other components * Strong verbal and written communication; Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and innovation * Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. What Will Put You Ahead * SAP S/4 HANA experience * SAP ABAP troubleshooting knowledge - Good to have. * SAP Ariba Invoice Management experience- Good to have. * Accounting and finance business support experience * Manufacturing industry experience - Good to have. * Participation in an on-call rotation basis At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
