Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Drafter for a leading Civil Construction Company in Kochi. As a Structural Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The job is based in Cochin, Kerala, India, and the employment type is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Structural DrafterProficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting softwareStrong knowledge of structural engineering principles and conceptsAbility to interpret and understand construction and architectural drawingsExperience with piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID) and mechanical drawings is a plusExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team environment

Roles and Responsibilities

Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings based on specifications and requirementsCreate construction drawings, architectural drawings, and engineering drawingsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate representation of the designReview and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate changes and updatesEnsure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulationsPrepare and maintain documentation related to drawings and plansCoordinate with other drafters and team members to meet project deadlinesStay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural drafting technologies
