Verification and Validation

  • Good experience in embedded domain testing

• Strong Understanding of requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files and other project documents and shall be able to contribute to review of same.

• Ability identify, track and mitigate risks to the product.

• Prepare and execute the Test Design, Test Cases, Test Report, Test Plan and track the reported bugs.

• Carry out functional and non-functional testing.

• Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks.

• Able to come up with accurate estimates and schedule for test tasks using suitable estimation and sizing techniques.

• Participate and update testing status in partner meetings.

• Focus on the important testing and project priorities as agreed-upon with the test manager.

• Develop and maintain good professional working relationships, especially within the test team and with those who interact regularly with the test team.

• Understanding of in BACnet Protocol and building technologies added advantage.

• Shall have ability to establish the Test Automation in the project if required.

• Identify good practices and encourage and identify process gaps and resolve.

• Ability to handle the stakeholders without compromising on testing processes.

• Experience working with web and Desktop applications.



Qualification

• BE / B. Tech (Computer Science / Electronics / Instrumentation / Telecom) / MCA / ME / ISTQB / CSTE Certified – plus




Skill Set

• Verification and Validation methods and techniques

• Expertise in Quality Center, RTC Jazz, RQM or similar PLM tools.

• Working on VM ware

• Technical / Engineering Aptitude

• Knowledge of Networking, TCPIP and Hardware/Devices Configuration added advantage.

• Experience in Building Automation Domain added advantage.

• Knowledge of UFT and Test automation is added advantage

• Experience working on an agile development team.

• Helping other Grow

• Ensure Stakeholder Satisfaction and Collaboration.

• Making decisions and recommendations based on situation in the project keeping the Product quality in mind.

• ISTQB - Foundation Level Certified
