Role & responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using  and NestJS.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers.
  • Build and integrate Python services for data processing, ML inference, or automation tasks.
  • Work with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis for optimal data storage and caching.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security in a cloud-native environment.
  • Write clean, testable code following best practices (unit/integration testing, linting, etc.).
  • Debug issues, optimize performance, and continuously improve existing codebases.
  • Stay up to date with backend and AI development trends, tools, and practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with  and NestJS.
  • Working knowledge of Python (scripts, services, or automation).
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with NoSQL systems like MongoDB and Redis.
  • Strong understanding of API design, system architecture, and event-driven patterns.
  • Ability to write efficient, modular, and scalable code.
  • Solid understanding of Git-based workflows, and REST principles.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI/ML APIs, model serving, or MLOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Experience in AI-native development environments or LLM APIs.
