Job Title: Software Engineer, API Developer (Python/Java, Azure, FastAPI)

Location: Remote India

Duration: Fulltime

Must have skills:

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team, applying creativity towards building complex and scalable solutions. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, solving exciting problems while leveraging the best engineering practices. We work full-stack, and the team owns features end-to-end. On our teams, we’re working daily with product, and design to understand the problem and translate learnings into a pragmatic and effective solution. We are always balancing new feature development with efforts to continuously improve both our efficiency and our infrastructure.

The Software Engineer will work with the Engineering team collaborating with the third-Party API software development team, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry best practices.

Expectations:

• Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

• Contribute and support APIs that provide a way to automate, scale and optimize advertising.

• Code quality assurance through metric system solutions.

• Optimize APIs to enable partners to manage advertising resources using a REST API.

Responsibilities:

• A passion for bringing great products into our world through collaboration and ingenuity.

• Contributing to the design and architecture of complex software systems, considering scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture, design decisions, and coding practice.

• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize features and deliverables.

• Strong fundamentals, with overlap across our tech stack (Python, FastAPI, RESTful APIs, Azure Cloud Services, Kubernetes, Terraform)

• A passion for learning from and collaborating with a diverse, talented team and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree typically in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or another technically strong program

• Minimum 3+ years working in back-end/API software development

• Excellent communication skills - you can effectively work with engineers but at the same time collaborate with product owners and deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
