Industrial Leader

Our ID KIDS India Office is looking for a new Industrial Leader.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Product & Factory Development

Contributes to propose new factory to Global Source in line with desirability criterias.

Decides 1st proto sample allocation by the factory in accordance with the vendor sharing from the global sourcer and try to limit number of protos provided to the developer.

Follows each step of the development process from sending technical files to production sample in close link with developer.

Ensures close communication with developers and makes sure retro planning is monitored. If issues are met, reorganize retro planning to avoid production delays.

Ensures 100% cost sheets are provided with 1st proto sample & available on the server.

Contributes to writing the Time & Action (production status) with the capacity planner.

Negotiates claims with vendors in case of quality issues during production and ensures collection.

Maintain all the information available and right into Centric.

- Supplier management & negotiation

Ongoing development of factories industrial efficiency to grow performance and reduce cost (propose to developer the design to cost to reduce the price)

Negotiating with suppliers all what is related to products including price based on FOB cost sheet and also negotiate buying conditions including payment terms, MOQ, split shipments, quality claim etc.

Proactivity work with problem solving mindset and try to propose new .. innovation, working way or process

- Project management & Communication

Work on different projects/responsibilities based on company requirements.

Participate actively in sharing meetings with other teams such as Global Sourcer, Materials team, other buying offices, developers.

Negotiate claims with vendors in case of quality issues and ensure recovery of claims.

Job Requirements (Education, Softwares & Others)

- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably related with Textile.- Minimum 06 (Six) years experience in garment industry/buying office as sr. merchandiser in textile industry.- Strong communication skills in negotiation and product development.- Knowledge in Office softwares or Google sheet.- Language proficiency professional : Tamil, English. Hindi will be added advantage.
