We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript development and experience with Cypress or similar end-to-end testing frameworks. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality of our web applications through comprehensive testing.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Execute and analyze test results to identify, document, and report defects and inconsistencies.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.
Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated testing.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and web development.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in JavaScript development.
2+ years of experience with Cypress or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent knowledge and work experience in API testing and automation using Postman.
