Location : Varanasi

Job Type : Full-Time

Salary : 12 LPA to 16 LPA Depending Upon Experience and Knowledge


Role Summary


The Director of Quality is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of quality assurance and control processes within the organization. This role involves ensuring that the company’s products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The Director of Quality will work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


1.Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight

•Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

•Regularly review and update quality policies and procedures to ensure they are effective and current.

2.Regulatory Compliance

•Ensure all products and processes comply with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.

•Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare for audits and inspections.

3.Quality Assurance and Control

•Oversee the quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes to ensure products meet the required specifications and standards.

•Develop and implement quality control tests, procedures, and documentation.

4.Continuous Improvement

•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

•Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address any quality issues.

5.Team Leadership and Development

•Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

•Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for team members.

6.Supplier Quality Management

•Work with the procurement team to ensure suppliers meet quality standards and requirements.

•Conduct supplier audits and develop supplier improvement plans as necessary.

7.Customer Satisfaction

•Address customer complaints and issues related to product quality, ensuring timely resolution.

•Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

8.Data Analysis and Reporting

•Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

•Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key quality indicators and improvement initiatives.


Qualifications


1.Education

•Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.


2.Experience

•A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

•Experience in (industry-specific experience, e.g., manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, software development)

is highly desirable.


3.Certifications

•Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar certification is preferred.

•Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification is a plus.


4.Skills and Competencies

•Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and regulatory requirements.

•Excellent leadership and team management skills.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

•Proficient in quality management software and tools.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


Work Environment


•The role typically requires working in a factory environment with occasional visits to corporate office and supplier facilities.

•May require travel to meet with suppliers, attend conferences, or participate in training sessions.
