Job Description

Overview:

The Compliance Manager will be a key member of the Revenue Operations (RevOps) team, responsible for ensuring all processes and activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies. This role will have a significant focus on managing commercial contracts, reviewing customer purchase orders (POs), setting guidelines for order processing, and ensuring compliance across the RevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance requirements, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Compliance Management:

  • Ensure all processes related to customer and supplier data management comply with regulatory and company standards.
  • Oversee the accuracy and completeness of billing information, including official names, billing addresses, VAT treatment, and primary contacts.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all necessary official documents (e.g., CR, TRN, Authorized Signatories, NDA).
  • Ensure compliance with credit terms, limits, and the credit request process in collaboration with the accounts receivable team.

Commercial Contracts:

  • Review and manage commercial contracts to ensure they meet compliance standards and align with company policies.
  • Negotiate contract terms with customers and suppliers to ensure favorable conditions while maintaining compliance.
  • Develop and implement contract management processes, ensuring all contracts are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.

Process Oversight:

  • Establish and maintain scalable and compliant processes for customer and supplier registration.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance in the configuration of new product items, pricing, and VAT.
  • Review and ensure accuracy in outgoing quotes, escalating issues or seeking exceptions from the business desk as needed.
  • Ensure order fulfillment processes adhere to best practices and compliance standards from order entry to invoicing.

Order Processing & Fulfillment:

  • Set guidelines for the order processing workflow, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Validate and upload all supporting documents for customer purchase requests/orders.
  • Manage end-to-end order processing transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery commitments.
  • Handle day-to-day order management, including issue resolution and information gathering regarding schedules, invoices, tracking info, and sign-off documents.
  • Issue and communicate purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring bills are received and updated in the system.
  • Coordinate with internal delivery teams or external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.

Team Coordination & Training:

  • Ensure all RevOps team members are following established processes and compliance guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training to the RevOps team to ensure understanding and adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Act as the point of contact for compliance-related queries within the RevOps team.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with the Finance team on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable issues, ensuring compliance and follow-up as needed.
  • Collaborate with business development and sales teams to improve procurement, vendor management, onboarding processes, and order forecasts.
  • Provide feedback to management on process improvements, procedures, order management, and overall efficiency.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting areas of concern and suggesting improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional CCEP) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management, preferably within a revenue operations or financial environment in an IT company. 

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial and compliance management systems.

Requirements
Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. ITIL Foundation MCSA SQL Database MCSA BI MCSA BI SQL Development. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate and Azure Data Scientist Associate a plus Technical Skills: Experience in the following technology: 5+ (Microsoft SQL, Power BI) Deep technical or architectural knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas: Database administration (preferably with SQL, including Azure SQL) – performance tuning and optimization, troubleshooting, high availability / disaster recovery, security. Database development (preferably with SQL, including Azure SQL) – designing and building database solutions (tables / stored procedures / forms / queries / etc.) Business intelligence – combining knowledge of SSIS/SSAS/SSRS/Power BI technologies with a deep understanding of data structure / data models to design, develop, and tune BI solutions and reports. Advanced data analytics – designing and building solutions using technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, SQL DW, stream analytics, machine learning, R server. Personal Skills (MUST): High sense of responsibility and ownership, acting like owner in what you do. Exceptional communication and presentation skills Being able to work on their own or in a team Being able to work to tight deadlines Ability to maintain composure during stressful situation Handling many tasks & responsibilities Fluent in Arabic and English.
