product lines.
Role: Furniture Designer Intern
Location: Remote
Type: Internship
Job Description: As a Furniture Designer Intern, you will work closely with our design and manufacturing teams. You will get hands-on experience in designing, prototyping, and bringing furniture concepts to life. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical industry knowledge, enhance your creative skills, and contribute to the company’s design objectives.
Responsibilities: Assist in the design process from conceptualization to final product design
Work on CAD drawings, renderings, and presentations under the guidance of our experienced design team
Conduct research on furniture design trends, materials, and technologies
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design ideas
Support the design team in preparing models and prototypes
Assist in product development projects and collaborate with production teams
Participate in quality assurance of the final product
Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design or a related field
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
A keen eye for design, detail, and a passion for creativity
Ability to communicate design ideas through sketches and presentations
Good understanding of materials, production processes, and quality control
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
