Job Description- App Developer


Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced  App Developer to join our dynamic team. As an App Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing mobile applications that empower users with valuable insights and tools to enhance their agricultural operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive positive impact in the agriculture domain.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and agri experts to conceptualise and develop mobile applications tailored to the needs of the agricultural sector.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of mobile applications.
  • Continuously optimise and improve existing mobile applications based on user feedback, performance metrics, and emerging technologies.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in mobile app development, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate mobile applications with server-side technologies and APIs.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality and integrity.
  • Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, and documentation




Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a mobile app developer with a strong portfolio of published applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Java, Kotlin, or Flutter/Dart.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Passion for technology and a keen interest in agricultural innovation.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on mobile app projects in the agriculture or related domains.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms for scalable deployment of mobile applications.
  • Experience with edge computing and optimising app performance on resource-constrained devices.
  • Contributions to the mobile app development community, such as open-source projects or participation in relevant conferences and workshops.


Compensation:

Fixed CTC up in the range  3- 4.8 LPA (Negotiable based on experience)
