SAP CO Consultant.

Location : Pune & Bangalore (Hybrid work module).

Experience : 7 to 12 Years.

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering :

- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their costing and financial control requirements.

- Analyzing current financial and controlling processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Configuration :

- Configuring the SAP CO module based on business needs.

- This includes setting up cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and cost elements.

Implementing various controlling features such as :

- Cost Center Accounting (CCA).

- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

- Internal Orders (IO).

- Product Costing (CO-PC).

- Cost Object Controlling (CO-OM).

- Overhead Cost Controlling (CO-OM).

Integration with Other Modules :

- Working closely with consultants from other SAP modules (e.g , SAP FI, MM, SD, and PP) to ensure smooth integration of CO with other business processes.

- Ensuring financial data flows seamlessly between modules like SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).

Testing and Troubleshooting :

- Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and system testing for all implemented solutions.

- Identifying and resolving any issues or defects that arise during the testing phases.

User Training and Support:.

Providing training to business users on how to use the SAP CO functionalities effectively.

Offering post-implementation support and troubleshooting user issues.

Reporting and Documentation:.

Designing and implementing reports to track cost and profitability, such as cost center reports, profit center reports, internal order reports, and product costing reports.

Documenting configuration, functional specifications, and other critical processes.

Key Skills & Knowledge:.

Strong knowledge of SAP CO module: In-depth understanding of Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Costing (CO-PC), and related areas.

Integration expertise: Understanding the integration of SAP CO with other modules like SAP FI, MM, SD, PP, and integration with non-SAP systems.

Business Process Knowledge: A good grasp of costing, budgeting, and controlling practices in different industries (e.

, manufacturing, retail, and finance).

ABAP (Optional): Knowledge of SAP's programming language may be beneficial for creating custom reports or enhancing functionalities.

Project Management: Ability to manage projects, timelines, and client expectations, especially during implementation.

Qualifications :

Education : Typically, a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications : SAP CO certifications, such as the SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Management Accounting (CO), can be highly beneficial.

Experience : Several years of hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration and implementation, preferably with experience in the industry of the organization you're working with.

Tools & Technologies :

SAP S/4HANA :

- Knowledge of the latest SAP S/4HANA version of the CO module and its new functionalities.

SAP Fiori :

- Experience with SAP Fiori applications for user-friendly interfaces in SAP.

Reporting Tools :

- Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects, or other reporting tools
