Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned and motivated Tax Research and Compliance Manager to become a vital part of our energetic team. The perfect candidate holds an Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, with extensive expertise in tax matters and a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations. In this role, you will lead our tax research and compliance efforts, ensuring that our product development aligns with the most current regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

- Spearhead tax research initiatives to monitor both federal and state regulatory changes in real-time and annually.- Simplify and communicate intricate tax regulations into practical requirements for development, support, and sales teams.- Collaborate effectively with Development, Support, and Sales teams to ensure unified implementation of regulatory updates.- Create precise and informative content about tax compliance changes for internal teams, ensuring comprehensive understanding and alignment.- Exhibit outstanding communication skills to present updates to internal teams and external customers, fostering confidence in our compliance capabilities.- Contribute to strategic discussions by providing insights on how tax regulatory changes could impact the product roadmap.- Regularly assess our solutions to ensure they remain compliant with the latest standards.

Requirements:

- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA). (Non-CPA or non-EA candidates need not apply)- Expertise in tax laws and regulations, with a focus on digital tax compliance.- Demonstrated ability to convert complex tax regulations into clear and actionable product requirements.- Strong analytical skills for evaluating the impact of regulatory changes on product development.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex concepts to internal and external stakeholders.- Proven ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to implement compliance changes seamlessly.- Previous experience in tax research, compliance management, or a similar field is highly preferred.- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities and a track record of meeting deadlines.
