Job Description:The Information Security Analyst must have hands-on experience implementing ISO 27001 framework and other security standards like NIST to ensure effective IT controls. Responsibilities include supporting GRC activities, conducting risk assessments, assisting in ISO-related tasks such as documentation, training, audits, etc.
Skill Set and Responsibilities:Information Security Frameworks: Proficient in implementing ISMS ISO 27001 framework, conducting internal security audits, and coordinating external ISO 27001 audits independently.Risk Management and Assessment: Experienced in conducting risk assessments, gap analyses, and security audits to track organizational risks and enhance security posture.Candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of IT security controls that involve Networks, Firewalls, Antivirus, and other security tools.Vulnerability Management: Conduct and manage vulnerability assessment and remediation processes to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.Incident Management: Oversee incident response activities, including monitoring, coordinating, analyzing, and resolving security incidents promptly to minimize impact.Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Proficient in end-to-end BCP activities, including developing BCPs and DRPs, conducting business impact analyses, and coordinating BCP tests with business and IT teams.Client Support: Contribute to GRC initiatives and regulatory compliance, including reviewing MSAs and client contracts for security clauses and addressing Information security questionnaire queries.GDPR Compliance and Data Privacy: Manage GDPR compliance, data privacy regulations, conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), handle privacy incidents, and stay updated on the Indian Data Protection Bill.
Qualifications:4+ years of experience in Information security, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or GRC roles.Bachelor or master’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field.Must-have certifications include ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.Additional certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) methodologies and tools for identifying and mitigating security weaknesses.
