We're looking for a

Software Engineer

This role is Office Based


In this role you will...
• Develop, maintain and enhance .NET applicationsand services to contribute to our legacy and cloud platform.
• Triage customer product and technicalissues/defects and provide timely resolution.
• Look for opportunities to provide root cause fixand stop issues from re-occurring.
• Focus on ‘first time right’ approach.
• Partner with fellow engineers, product managers,and other team members as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge andunderstanding of products.
• Adopt best development practices.
• Participate in architectural decisions anddesign considerations
• Collaborate with global Engineering, Product andRelease teams, as necessary.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues andprovide detailed RCA.

You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have…
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in ComputerScience or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with active hands-ondevelopment experience in object-oriented languages like, C#, Java or others.
• Strong experience developing Microservices,RESTful services or other SOA development experience is a plus.
• Exposure to ORM’s like Entity Framework,Nhibernate or similar.
• Strong TDD approach and hands-on experience ontools like Nunit, xUnit or any other testing tools or frameworks.
• Strong in OOP and SOLID design principles.
• Exposure to modern java script frameworks likeReact is a plus.
• Understand basic AWS core services and basicarchitecture best practices.
• Experience in working on projects with publiccloud providers like Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud, etc is a plus.
• Should be able to optimize designs/queries forscale.
• Proficient experience with relational databasessuch as Microsoft SQL Server/Postgres. Exposure to other non-relational DBslike MongoDB is a plus
• Hands-on experience with github, bitbucket, etc.
• Should have work experience in Agile SCRUM orKANBAN.
• Should be very good at analyzing andDebugging/Troubleshooting functional and technical issues.
• Should have good insight onPerformance/Optimization techniques.
• Good understanding on secure developmentpractices and proactively codes to avoid security issues. Able to resolveall findings.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative andproblem-solving abilities
• Conversant in algorithms, software design patterns,and their best usage.
• Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight.
• Good team player with the ability to handlemultiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oralcommunication skills.
• Passion for continuous process and technologyimprovement
