Our client, a prominent payment consulting firm serving banking clients across the MENA region, is seeking a Senior Developer or and Integration Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for the process of incorporating the Common Data Format (CDF) into a TSYS Prime, a Card Management System .

What will you be doing :

Job Description :


Project Execution and Customer Interaction : Manage end-to-end customer projects using the global project management methodology. Guide customers through the implementation process, ensuring compliance with rules and documentation. Handle customer escalations independently

Software Development : Design, develop, and maintain Prime TSYS applications in line with project requirements and industry best practices. Conduct software development and configuration of TSYS Prime (CMS) to ensure alignment with specifications provided for integration with the Smart Data & ICCP platform/data elements

Collaboration and Requirements Analysis : Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Work closely with crossfunctional teams to complete projects within time and budget, ensuring alignment with project timelines, priorities, and goals

Implementation and Integration : Implement software solutions that integrate with Prime TSYS platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. Implement complex pilot products and assess commercial product readiness, providing technical guidance on product offerings

Technical Skills and Testing : Conduct thorough testing of applications, data elements, configurations, and interfaces to identify and address defects or performance issues. Ensure accurate vetting of customer network systems for financial payments and tailored service interactions

Support and Troubleshooting : Provide support and troubleshooting for Prime TSYS applications in production environments, ensuring timely resolution of issues

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Document technical designs, code, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance

Continuous Improvement and Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and standards

Collaboration and Efficiency : Prioritise clear communication and effective management of escalations, working closely with crossfunctional teams to complete projects within time and budget

Mentorship : Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Prime TSYS development best practices.

Your background :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Proven experience in Prime TSYS development, with expertise in designing and implementing solutions on Prime platforms

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

- Experience with Prime TSYS APIs, interfaces, and integration techniques

- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and version control systems (Git, SVN)

- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment

- High proficiency in software development, particularly related to the CDF for ICCP (In Control for Commercial Payments specifically Smart Data)

- Strong understanding and experience with CMS (Card Management System), specifically TSYS Prime

- Understanding of configurations, data elements, and interfaces.

- Knowledge of Network message standards ISO8583 standards

This is a contractual role and will be on an initial 6months contract (extendible). This role is based out of Doha, : 70-75lpa
