SUMMARY OF THE ROLEFinance ManagerWorking at Mumbai, IndiaFinance Manager plays a critical role in providing insight and decision support to heads of departments and senior leadership teams. As a global business, Mammoet looking for a talented business professional who can encompass financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting, cost center management, manage & develop the finance team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGFinancial Planning and budgeting in line with guidelines and control cycleCorporate income tax, TDS (withholding tax local and foreign), GST in depth knowledge as to ensure accurate tax accounting and on time payment of taxes in India with assistance of tax advisors.Implementation of improvements to the accounting process as to align and comply with Mammoet standard procedures and finance manualBalance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure a clean and accurate balance sheetBuilding a banking relationship and review, implement processes to ensure all payments (local and foreign) are executed in a timely manner for all payments.Manage and complete external audited financials and tax audits in a timely mannerDesigning and implementing financial procedures to ensure SAP accounting is leading as the only accounting systemAdhere to local compliance in line with internal and external regulationsLead an accounting team and ensure accurate financial management reportingReview and control day-to-day accounting operations: General Ledger, AP, AR, project costing etc.Perform ad-hoc reports and analyses to support business decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEEDProfessional level experience in people management, accounting, financial reporting, department systems, and MS Office suiteEnglish, fluent proficiency verbal and writtenBachelor’s degree in finance, CA, CWA or CPAEvidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining10 years of relevant work experienceA bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
