This is a remote position.

We are seeking a motivated Software Tester with 23 years of experience in manual testing to join our quality assurance team. In this role you will be responsible for manually testing software applications ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will collaborate with developers product managers and other testers to identify document and track defects as well as ensure a seamless user experience.Test Planning & Design: Understand project requirements and create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans test cases and test scenarios.
Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of software applications across different platforms (web desktop mobile) to identify and report bugs and issues.
Defect Management: Log track and manage defects in a bugtracking system (e.g. Jira Bugzilla) providing detailed documentation and steps to reproduce.
Test Execution: Execute test cases (functional regression integration usability etc.) ensuring software meets acceptance criteria and works as expected.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand technical implementations provide feedback on product features and suggest improvements.
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to verify that defects are fixed and that new features do not introduce new issues.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to conduct UAT and ensure that the software meets the business needs.
Reporting: Create clear and concise reports summarizing testing results issues found and progress toward project deadlines.
Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science IT or related field (or equivalent work experience).
23 years of experience in software testing with a focus on manual testing.
Strong knowledge of testing techniques testing life cycles and test case design.
Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g. TestRail Zephyr).
Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and the role of QA within the software development process.
Familiarity with testing across different platforms (web mobile desktop).
