Job Responsibilities: A.    Veterinary Services, Treatment & Surgical Procedures 1.     Drive mobile clinic vans to villages for treatment and prevention. 2.     Treat sick or injured animals through medication, dressing wounds, or performing surgery. 3.     Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries. 4.     Collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis. 5.     Train or supervise team and technicians for handling or care of animals. 6.     Inspect and test cattle to detect the presence of communicable diseases. 7.     Establish or conduct quarantine or testing procedures that prevent the spread of diseases to other animals or to humans and that comply with applicable      government regulations. 8.     Inoculate animals against various diseases, such as FMD, HS, and BQ. 9.     Selection of Model Dairy Farms for implementation & management. 10.  Promotion of Cattle Feed, Mineral Mixture, Fodder Seed, Deworming among the farmers through awareness programs 11.  Identify, conduct & demonstrate fodder development techniques farmers i.e. silage making, mower usage, construction of biomass & storage silos. 12.  Perform administrative & management tasks, such as scheduling appointments, attending treatment calls, accepting payments, budgeting, or maintaining records & MIS. 13.  Conduct postmortem studies and analyses to determine the causes of animals' deaths. 14.  Ensure compliances with the breeding policy of the state. 15.  Veterinary Surgical Tools Knowledge Required B.    Monitoring & Extension Education: 16.  Ensure quality genetics are provided to Mobile Artificial Insemination Technician (MAIT) through robust AI delivery network 17.  Train, direct, motivate and monitor the performance of MAIT and attend periodical meetings. 18.  Educate the public about diseases that can be spread from animals to humans. 19.  Advise animal owners regarding sanitary measures, feeding, general care, medical conditions, or treatment options. 20.   Conduct farmers education & awareness programs related to AI, RBP, Fodder Conservation, Deworming, Ethno Veterinary Medicines (EVM) for farmers and various other livestock management techniques.
