Digital Learning Practice Lead
The Digital Learning Practice Lead will work collaboratively with a talented cross-functional team to create and manage a best-in-class digital learning experience / LXP. This role will develop & establish, ground-up, the Digital Learning Experience portfolio of Syngene.
The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for developing modern digital learning experiences for a diverse global workforce.
The purpose of this role is to:
Build an industry-leading digital learning technology portfolio.
Lead product delivery and manage portfolio performance.
Plan portfolio enhancements, optimize platforms and manage lifecycle(s).
Integrate machine learning, gamification, translation, collaboration, and just-in-time capabilities.
Principal Accountabilities
-Build an industry-leading digital learning technology ecosystem.
-Assess current learner experience capabilities and build portfolio roadmap.
-Develop a strong understanding of the portfolio technical architecture, its capabilities, and constraints.
-Oversee solution design activities and support the translation of the solution design to actionable work for development teams.
-Lead product delivery and manage portfolio performance.
-Work with cross-functional teams to build and deliver new learning capabilities.
-Uncover, understand, and synthesize learner experience analytics and translate into requirements.
-Improve agile processes between Learning and Development and IT.
-Build portfolio analytics capability, monitor, and draw insights for an improved learner experience.
-Accountable for estimation, agile development, testing and launch of new features or products within the portfolio.
-Work with engineering teams and vendor(s) to ensure adherence to product release schedules and the overall roadmap.
-Interface with learners, stakeholders, HR, and IT to capture requirements, status, assess risks and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
-Plan portfolio enhancements, optimize platforms and manage lifecycle(s).
-Develop and maintain product roadmaps integrating successful experiments and pilots into portfolio.
-Develop business cases to drive strategic enhancements.
-Oversee the coordination of external platform vendors, define and manage statements of work, and ensure selected vendors are onboarded and consistently driving outcomes.
-Manage portfolio performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Competencies (Must-have)
-Bachelor’s degree.
-A minimum of 12+ years of experience building, launching, and managing modern worldwide digital learning applications
-3 years’ experience with Agile, Design Thinking and Lean Start-up practices.
-Strong understanding of key global trends in Digital Learning practices, methods, and technologies.
-Strong Product Management and Project Management experience.
-Experience in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
-Practical understanding of front-end development, building integrations with third party systems, database structure design, and scalability issues
-Complex thinking, analysis and decision-making skills, advanced problem-solving skills
-Predicts and mitigates problems early on.
-Track record of project delivery across various business functions.
-Outstanding capability to identify and apply design-thinking methodologies to shape opportunities.
-Demonstrated ability to build strong networks & stakeholder management to meet shared objectives and to deliver learner-centric experiences.
-Is resilient and adaptable in ambiguous situations.
-Proven ability to think strategically and to translate strategic directives into tactical initiatives.
