What you will be doing at Evalueserve We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure & Databricks Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Databricks platforms. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise and leadership capabilities, including guiding teams, defining best practices, and driving strategic data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in cloud data architecture, big data technologies, and data engineering workflows, along with strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Architect & Design: Define and implement end-to-end data architecture leveraging Azure services and Databricks. Design scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and real-time streaming solutions. Establish best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. Hands-On Development: Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Spark. Develop reusable frameworks and components for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics. Optimize Spark jobs for performance and cost efficiency. Leadership & Collaboration: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams. Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions. Lead migration projects from legacy systems to modern cloud-based architectures. Operational Excellence: Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering. Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring reliability and scalability. Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into the architecture roadmap. What we’re Looking for  10+ years in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in Azure and Databricks architecture roles. Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions. Strong proficiency in Azure services: Azure Data Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Azure Blob Storage. Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Python/SQL. Knowledge of real-time data processing (Kafka, Structured Streaming). Familiarity with ML-flow, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates). Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Tools & Platforms: Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Looker). Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift). Exposure to machine learning workflows and analytics.
