Pangolin Marketing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Design Lead with 6 years of experience in an agency setting. This role demands a strategic thinker and innovative leader who can develop design systems, implement design thinking methodologies, and build processes for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will not only excel in conceptual thinking but also mentor junior designers to elevate their skills and capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

- Design Systems Development : Create and maintain comprehensive design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across all projects.

- Design Thinking Implementation : Utilize design thinking principles to foster a creative and user-centered approach in all design processes.

- Process Improvement : Build and refine processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the design team, ensuring continuous improvement and high-quality output.

- Conceptual Thinking : Lead the conceptual development of creative projects, translating client needs into innovative and effective design solutions.

- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and development.

- Client Engagement : Interact with clients to understand their vision, present design concepts, and ensure their needs are met with high-quality solutions.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including marketing and development teams, to create cohesive and impactful design work.

- Innovation and Trend Analysis : Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.

Skills and Qualifications

- Technical Skills : Mastery of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.

- Design Thinking : Strong knowledge and application of design thinking methodologies.

- Conceptual and Creative Skills : Exceptional ability to develop and execute innovative design concepts.

Requirements

- Experience : 5+ years of experience in a design role within an agency environment, preferably with a focus on B2B marketing.

- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

- Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and a keen eye for detail.
