Job Responsibilities :

Job Purpose

Strategiclink of Supply Chain Management between Business Group # Plant - Customers.Ensuring prompt placement by effective co-ordination with channel partners andplant personnel to increase customer satisfaction and revenue cycle of thecompany. To plan, implement & ensure logistics support to RIL plants andterminals with maintaining high level of safety

JobAccountabilities

·Ensure proper planning and smooth dispatches of liquidsby providing timely placement of tankers, safe and timely delivery to customerto achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.

·Coordinating with BG, RO, and Site Logistics, toeffect smooth dispatches.

·Inducting performing vendors on the affectedlanes and make the changes in allotment percentage.

·Ensuring maximum back freighting.

·Monthly review of vendor#s performance.

·Imparting safety/operations training to vendors.

·To instruct transporters to bring load worthy andtransit worthy vehicles with standard safety norms.

·Monitor VTS data on daily basis and takecorrective action.

·Ensuring the involvement of transporters inregular Transporters Meet at Site to make them aware of Site requirements,understanding of carrier problems and resolution by Site Logistics &Security. Sharing the LFI (Learning from Incident) with them to stop recurrenceof such unsafe acts / practices both within the complex and on the road.

·Input of market freights as and when required byFreight management for taking corrective actions.

·Coordination with ALL plants to ensure 100% BackFreighting of Out Bound tankers and with Transporters and BG for Inboundtankers

Education Requirement :

Graduate 

Experience Requirement :

Min 7 years# experience in Logistics field.
