About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Computer Vision R&D Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge computer vision projects, solving complex challenges in image processing and robotics. Your expertise will contribute to developing novel solutions that push the boundaries of technology and enable real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms.
· Conduct research on advanced image processing techniques and their applications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision-based solutions into robotics and autonomous systems.
· Optimize performance and scalability of vision algorithms for deployment on edge devices and other platforms.
Required Skills & Expertise
·        Programming Proficiency : Strong command of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
·        Advanced Projects : Experience working with advanced computer vision projects such as Visual Odometry, Obstacle Avoidance, or SLAM.
·        Computer Vision Expertise :
1.      Feature Detection & Matching : Knowledge of SIFT, SURF, ORB, or Harris corner detection.
2.      Geometric Transformations : Skills in image translation, rotation, scaling, and cropping.
3.      3D Vision : Familiarity with Structure-from-Motion (SfM), Bundle Adjustment, Iterative Closest Point (ICP), and 3D point cloud processing.
4.      Outlier Removal : Understanding of RANSAC and similar techniques for robust model fitting.
5.      Camera Calibration : Knowledge of projection matrices, fundamental matrices, and essential matrices.
6.      Stereo Vision : Experience with stereo images, depth maps, disparity maps, and epipolar geometry.
o   Mathematical Rigor : Solid foundation in linear algebra, geometry, and optimization techniques.
o   Data Structures & Algorithms : Proficient in algorithm design and optimization.
o   ROS (Optional) : Familiarity with Robot Operating System is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
Experience :
·      Proven track record in implementing advanced computer vision algorithms.
·      Hands-on experience with Visual Odometry, SLAM, or similar systems.
·      Experience working on real-world projects in robotics, autonomous systems, or similar domains.
