Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with Medicare and other regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks include verifying credentials, maintaining up-to-date records, and communicating with insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Behavioral and Medical Credentialing for Facilities and Providers
  • Minimum 3 years of Credentialing experience on paper
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Knowledge of In-Network application submission via portal and forms is mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in the healthcare or billing industry is a Mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field is preferred
