About the Company:
We are a growing organization committed to excellence in (insert your industry, e.g., manufacturing, services, tech, etc.). Our Madurai office is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entry of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.
- Prepare and file statutory returns and financial reports as required.
- Support the management with financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (M.Com, CA Inter, or similar qualification preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Indian taxation and financial regulations.
- Excellent MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
