You must have skills on :Experience with both storage & backup subsystem to provide Level 2 Steady State support.Must have experience with Windows, Linux, iSeries, AIX, Solaris OS, DB/2, Oracle, Exchange, and SQLPlanning the Storage, Backup, and Security strategy, including ownership for all data classification.Implementation of Storage based solutions including Storage Consolidation, SAN, Backup, and Disaster Recovery Solutions like Zerto in line with a defined strategyAdvanced level support for troubleshooting, problem escalation, and resolution post implementationExtensive experience in Storage Consolidation, Backup and Recovery, and Disaster Recovery.Hands-on backup solution, Storage, and SAN Expert, Experience with Nimble Storage solutions.Implementation experience of Commvault, Net Backup, HP DP, Spectrum Protect, Rubrik, Veeam, TSM, Backup Exec backup platform – on-premises & cloud is must and Such market-leading backup software.Good experience on Backups on multi-OS platforms - Unix, Linux, Windows, VMWare, Nutanix.Good knowledge of SAN / NAS / FC Switches / Tape LibrariesShould have strong technical experience/ expertise with applications to integrate with backup software. Such as Backup agents of various APIs like Database Backups, SAP or HANA, cloud-based backups, or endpoint backups.Understanding of all network and IT security standards and products like LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, FirewallsUnderstanding of IT Infrastructure and various components which integrates or are used by backup or storage solution.

How you will contribute :

Should be able to lead or drive projects or POCs independently.Must have good communication and be able to manage customer satisfactionGood experience on Backups on multi-OS platforms - Unix, Linux, Windows, VMWare, Nutanix.Experience with Nutanix platform & storage managementBasic hands-on on AWS & Azure platform, understanding of SAN FC switching and zoning (Brocade and Cisco)LUN Configuration and management for Servers (AIX/LINUX/Windows/ESX)• Experience with Dell/EMC/NetApp SAN & NAS storage• Proactively maintain and manage the storage environment• Log analysis and correlation of Monthly reports.• Knowledge on AWS Storage S3, EBS, EFS and Glacier• DR testing and taking ownership during such DR cycles.• Monitoring and optimization of the performance, tuning, capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and automation of storage Arrays.• Must have experience working with 3rd party vendors to provide hardware maintenance fixes.• Understanding of ITIL process – Incident, Change, Problem Management process.• Act as liaison with other IT support team members to resolve issues in a timely manner and ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation tracking and follow-ups of all incidents and requests• Ensure to create and maintain Standard Operating Environment (SOE) image with up-to-date patches• Proactively monitor the performance of storage/backup devices, desktop applications, identify RCA and make approve changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of applications"
