Role Description

Ambient Spaces is seeking a full-time, on-site Interior Architect based in New Delhi. The role involves responsibility for space planning, interior design, architecture, interior fit-out, and day-to-day tasks related to interior architecture. In addition to designing functional and aesthetic spaces, the Interior Architect will be expected to produce interactive walkthroughs to provide clients with immersive visualizations of their spaces. These walkthroughs will be integral to the presentation and decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Space Planning & Interior Design : Creating functional and aesthetically appealing layouts for various types of spaces.
  • Interior Fit-out & Architecture : Overseeing the design and implementation of interior fit-out solutions, ensuring seamless integration of design elements.
  • Walkthroughs : Developing high-quality 3D walkthroughs and visualizations using design software to showcase design concepts and layouts to clients.
  • Collaboration & Coordination : Working closely with project teams to ensure design integrity from concept through execution.
  • Software Expertise : Utilizing design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max to create detailed designs, models, and walkthroughs.

Qualifications:

  • Space Planning & Interior Design Skills : Expertise in creating functional, attractive layouts and designs.
  • Interior Fit-out Knowledge : Deep understanding of interior architecture and fit-out processes.
  • Proficiency in Design Software : Advanced skills in AutoCAD , SketchUp , and 3ds Max are essential, with the ability to produce high-quality walkthroughs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree : A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
  • Strong Communication Skills : Excellent ability to present ideas and collaborate with teams and clients effectively.
  • Team Collaboration : Proven ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to all project stages.

The Interior Architect will be a key player in delivering high-end design solutions while ensuring that client expectations are met through clear, engaging visualizations, including 3D walkthroughs. Mastery of 3ds Max is crucial for creating detailed, realistic representations of design concepts, making it a critical requirement for the role.
