Our client is a pioneering Identity SecOps provider that arms identity and cybersecurity teams with end-to-end, real-time identity security posture management and threat detection.

They are designed to secure identity and access in any cloud (e.g.AWS, Azure), as well as on-premises or data centres. In 2022, Gartner recognized our client as a Cool Vendor in Identity-First Security. The product is heavily driven by data analytics as well as AI/ML (in the near future).

The core idea is to analyze events & logs from enterprise systems & networks to enable the use cases we are trying to solve in the area of identity & access security.

Position Overview :

As a Senior DevOps Engineer Operations Focus, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization by championing best practices in infrastructure automation, continuous integration, and deployment with a strong focus on operations.

You will have end-to-end ownership of designing, implementing, and optimising robust and scalable systems. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead initiatives that drive efficiency, innovation, and the overall success of our technology stack.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including QA, UI, Development, IT/Ops, and non-engineering stakeholders, is integral to this role.

Responsibilities :

- Maintain and optimise cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Maintain and enhance the existing IaC scripts to ensure efficient provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.

- Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to track system performance and health.


- Analyse logs and metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.

- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

- Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment, ensuring reliability and speed in software delivery.

- Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain security best practices.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to infrastructure and deployment processes.

- Administer and optimise Linux and/or Windows systems to ensure high availability and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenges promptly.

- Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our technology stack remains current and competitive.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role in a senior capacity with at least 10 years in an enterprise-grade environment with a strong operational focus.

- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, security best practices, and system administration.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Strong expertise in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).

- Experience with micro-services deployments (e.g., k8s, Nomad/Consul).

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
