Your day at NTT DATA The Senior Manager, Software Applications Development is a senior management role, responsible for taking accountability for the direction, design, development and implementation of new applications and upgrades for systems to meet business requirements. This senior management role directs the design of new applications from conception to completion and oversees the technical staff involved with the development project(s), including overseeing and directing software application upgrades.The Senior Manager, Software Applications Development strives towards fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.What you'll be doing Role: Cloud ArchitectExperience: 12+ years in software development, with a focus on AI and cloud technologies. Design and implement migration strategies for transitioning on-premises systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring minimal disruption. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and maintain architecture blueprints for cloud migration, focusing on scalability, performance, and security. Lead technical teams in executing migration plans, including data transfer, application re-platforming, and system integration. Provide expert guidance on GCP services and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Conduct assessments and audits of existing infrastructure to identify potential challenges and opportunities for optimization during migration. Develop detailed migration plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with business goals and minimizing downtime.
