About Alstom in India
Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation. Alstom has set up an Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, and this coupled with a strong manufacturing base as well as localized supply chains, is uniquely positioned to serve customers across the globe. POSITION OVERVIEW:
Carry out the assessment on a project/product to determine whether it meets the specified safety requirements and to form a judgement on the fact that it is fit for its intended purpose Ensure application of reference processes and contribute to continuous improvements of process and methods• Assessment scope concerns projects/programs developed in France and also other DIS programs worldwide

SKILLS & EDUCATION:
Educational Requirements:
Master Degree in Engineering or similar technical fields
Experience:
5 years of experience in railway safety domain or 5 years in railway domain (including 2 years in railway safety domain) (WCE) Expert in Safety Knowledge of Alstom Ethics & Compliance policy Knowledge of Alstom EHS policy and Alstom Zero Deviations rules Experience in AuditCompetencies & Skills:
Rigorous and structured with the ability to work against deadlines Ability to challenge and ability to say no Fluent in English, Communication, Pugnacious, resilience, negotiation Technical skills in railway safety process and related methods and tools Technical skills in railway operational context and system / product’s functional and technical characteristics Knowledge of railway safety standards and regulationsAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
