Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Developer Experience: 3+ Years Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer with hands-on experience in implementing and enhancing IT Operations Management modules. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and implement ITOM modules, including: Discovery Service Mapping CMDB enhancements Event Management Orchestration (if applicable) Build and maintain MID Servers , credentials, probes, and sensors. Design and implement Service Maps , business services, and dependency views. Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, SCOM, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios , etc. Troubleshoot Discovery issues, patterns, and performance-related challenges. Ensure CMDB data accuracy, reconciliation, and normalization. Develop automation workflows using Script Includes, Business Rules, Transform Maps, REST/SOAP integrations . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ITOM solutions with business needs. Create documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles for implemented solutions. Required Technical Skills ServiceNow ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration CMDB Expertise: CI classes, relationships, identifiers, CMDB best practices Discovery Expertise: Patterns, probes, sensors MID Server troubleshooting Credential management Service Mapping: Application/services mapping Pattern design & troubleshooting Event Management: Alert rules, alert correlation Monitoring tool integrations Integration Skills: REST API, SOAP, web services, integration hub Scripting: JavaScript (Server & Client-side), Glide API, Script Includes Database & Infrastructure Knowledge: Windows/Linux servers, networking basics, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) Experience with ITIL processes , especially Incident, Change, CMDB governance. Good to Have ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM Knowledge of Agent Client Collector (ACC) Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or automation tools Exposure to Performance Analytics or ITSM modules
