Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Quality Engineer. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our QA team, contributing to the creation and execution of automated tests across various platforms, including iOS, Android, and web applications. Your expertise in utilizing tools like Appium, Selenium, Postman, and Rest Assure d will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products. Additionally, you will be involved in manual testing activities, test case creation, and providing interactive demos to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Selenium, Postman, and Rest Assured, covering iOS, Android, and web applications.
Design and implement test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
Execute automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
Utilize Postman and Rest Assured to create and execute API tests for web services.
Troubleshoot and analyze test failures, identifying root causes and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test scripts and automation strategies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Create and execute manual test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Provide interactive demos of testing results and product features to stakeholders and clients.
Document and communicate testing progress, results, and issues clearly and concisely.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and remotely .
Hands-on experience 4 – 7 years .
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Appium, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured , and automation testing across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or similar languages for creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
Strong understanding of API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
Understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
