as Procurement Executive.Oversee all spend activity and procurement requests for assigned category areas and determine proper action plan for all that meet the procurement involvement threshold (e.g., strategic source, user purchase, contracting )Maintenance of approved vendor contact lists approved hardware/software, and service listsGuides project teams, functions, and geographies in developing and managing the overall approach for procurement shared services implementation, ensuring all related projects are in alignmentEnsures the professional and management development of team members, with emphasis on succession planning, and the achievement of a global procurement high-performance, shared responsibility teamLeads Strategic Sourcing process with proven procurement success in leading-edge technologiesPlan, direct, and manage procurement activities (including sourcing strategy, RFP/bid review, and supplier management)Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).A person needs to have good knowledge of the SAP system.Maintenance of vendor online ordering portals
