About the Role:Teleparty is looking for passionate Android Developers in India to build a world-class social TV experience for Teleparty. You'll work closely with Indian and US engineering, design, revenue, and growth teams to develop and grow free and paid streaming integrations for our Android based App that will delight users and drive our business forward.Responsibilities:- Design, build, test and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code for our Android App( UI and User Experience) for streaming integration with our OTT partners Hotstar, ESPN+, Disney+ MENA, and more.- Receive hands-on training on developing and maintaining streaming integrations for our Android App, and work on high-bandwidth infrastructure serving a social graph of millions of users.- Work closely with founders/engineering leads to engage users to understand product problems/priorities & maintain & improve the App in terms of designing & shipping new features.- Translate requirements, designs and wireframes into high quality code. Effectively diagnose code bugs and develop a plan for resolution.- Collect and use data to drive product decisions and analyze success.Qualifications- Bachelor's from a Tier 1 university, or equivalent work experience at a Tier 1 Company.- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.- 3+ years of Android development experience at a multinational company or top startup, working across multiple time zones.- Excellent proficiency in Java, Kotlin , Android SDK and OOP concepts.- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices.- Good understanding of Android basics, like memory management, thread management, networking etc.- Hands-on knowledge of supporting multiple versions of Android, screen resolutions, video playing and device types.- Ability to think through edge cases, prioritize clean solutions, and debug complex issues.- Experience in working on Android TV frameworks and developing streaming applications (OTT) would be a plus.Benefits- Monthly learning & wellness stipend- Internal training- Unlimited subscriptions to streaming services & movie tickets
