As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Job Description :


- Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience.

- Proficient in Kotlin.

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

- 3+ years of experience building applications on the Android platforms using KOTLIN.

- Solid background in Android UI, Android SDK, Android design and architecture components.

- Solid background writing automated unit tests Comfortable working with Git, Jenkins and Jira.

- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle etc. Familiarity with Jenkins and continuous integration pipelines

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to new technologies and changes in requirements.

- Strong understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines, and experience working with designers to implement attractive user interfaces.

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge Android mobile applications that deliver a seamless user experience

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements and designs into high-quality code.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks to improve application stability and performance

- Continuously optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, and battery consumption

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness, reliability, and scalability of the application.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and technical designs.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development

Additional Preferred Skill :

- Experience with Android Jetpack components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Room)

- Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger

- Experience with reactive programming libraries like RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines

- Familiarity with Firebase platform services for mobile app development.

- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices.

- Previous experience in publishing and maintaining applications on Google Play Store.
