Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate in Finance & Investments to join the CEO’s Office at BHIVE Group. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in finance, investment analysis, and advanced Excel skills. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities, capable of supporting high-level decision-making and contributing to the growth and success of the company. The role holder will be based out of Bangalore and will need to travel extensively to other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:Conduct detailed financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions.Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.Monitor financial performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.

Investment Analysis & Strategy:Analyse investment opportunities and perform due diligence.Develop investment strategies and provide recommendations to the CEO.Manage investment portfolios and track the performance of investments.Conduct in-depth investment research on active portfolios and assess the long-term profit-loss trajectory.Reduce financial risk based on current and forecasted market trends and financial data

Strategic Planning:Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives.Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and market trends.Support the CEO in preparing for meetings with investors, stakeholders, and board members.

Advanced Excel & Financial Modeling:Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and maintain complex financial models.Develop and implement automated processes for data analysis and reporting.Ensure accuracy and consistency in all financial models and reports.Having strong working knowledge on PowerBI/ Tableau tools, an added advantage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and insights.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies.Support the CEO in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed.Pre-empt investor queries by liaising with cross functional departments and having data before hand thereby saving time and increasing the information efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;A qualified CA with 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance, investment analysis, fund raise or a similar role. CFA would be an added advantage.Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity and professionalism.Proficient in PowerPoint presentationsProven track record in presenting reports to investors and addressing the questions on Financial Due Diligence.Proven track record of having worked on Buy and Sell side of Financial Due Diligence and having been part of fund raise exercises.Willingness to travel and work under pressure with committed deadlines.
