Public Relations Officer (PRO)
to serve as the primary
Point of Contact (POC)
for managing high-profile accounts, including a Member of Parliament, prominent personalities, foundations, and institutions. This role demands strong project management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to ensure seamless execution of PR strategies and campaigns. You will oversee and coordinate all activities to ensure they align with client objectives and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & POC Role:
Act as the
primary liaison
between Lokpriy and high-profile clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on the status of projects, campaigns, and initiatives.Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all tasks are executed according to the agreed plan.Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their priorities and long-term goals.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive PR strategies tailored to their specific needs and audiences.Oversee the execution of campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables across all channels (media, events, digital platforms).Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to meet deadlines.Use Lokpriy’s AI-driven insights to guide decision-making and optimize campaign strategies.
Media Relations & Public Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers to promote clients’ initiatives effectively.Facilitate media interactions, interviews, and public appearances for key accounts, including Members of Parliament and institutional heads.Draft press releases, media kits, and talking points to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.Monitor and report on media coverage, providing insights to clients and refining strategies where needed.
Event Coordination & Management:
Plan and oversee public events, community programs, and institutional initiatives for key accounts.Ensure all event logistics, including media coverage, stakeholder engagement, and branding, are executed flawlessly.Represent clients at events and ensure alignment with their messaging and public image.
Reputation Management & Crisis Handling:
Monitor public sentiment and respond swiftly to potential crises or reputational risks.Craft well-structured communication strategies to address challenges while safeguarding client integrity.Regularly provide clients with sentiment analysis and actionable recommendations to maintain a positive public image.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Work closely with Lokpriy’s multidisciplinary teams (content, digital, AI insights) to deliver cohesive campaigns.Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, ensuring consistency in quality and execution.Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth coordination and clear task delegation.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in PR, account management, or strategic communications, with a focus on high-profile personalities or institutions.Education:
Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications are a plus.Project Management:
Strong organizational skills and experience managing complex accounts and multiple stakeholders.Media Expertise:
Established network within national and regional media circles.Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.Flexibility:
Ability to adapt to dynamic schedules and travel requirements.Problem-Solving:
Proactive approach to identifying challenges and providing effective solutions.
Preferred Attributes:
Proven experience working with Members of Parliament, government officials, or other prominent personalities.Familiarity with foundation- or institution-oriented campaigns and communications.Ability to work under pressure and manage high-stakes situations with professionalism.Multilingual proficiency (English: primary, Hindi: secondary) is a strong advantage.
