About the Role:


The Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for managing the risk exposure of the Company’s Unsecured Loan Portfolio. This includes evaluating the creditworthiness of borrowers, identifying potential risk factors, developing models for loan performance, and recommending strategies to mitigate risk. The role requires deep expertise in credit risk, financial analysis, and regulatory requirements pertaining to unsecured lending.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data to uncover patterns, trends, and key insights that drive decision-making and risk management strategies.
  • Analyze customer and loan data to pinpoint high-risk segments, enabling the design of strategies to reduce default rates and mitigate losses.
  • Develop and validate predictive scoring models for unsecured lending portfolios to enhance customer segmentation and optimize credit decisions.
  • Formulate credit policies for new partners and lending channels, and regularly review and update policies for existing partners to reflect any changes in risk or market conditions.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the unsecured loan portfolio, assessing key metrics to ensure alignment with risk tolerance and business goals.
  • Track daily and weekly movements within the credit line portfolio to detect any emerging risks or trends that may require immediate action.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, collections, and product development, to implement and enforce credit policies effectively, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.


Skills & Expertise:


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, particularly within unsecured lending environments.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and advanced Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Post-Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, or Data Science.
