Role Overview

Eternal Robotics is seeking a seasoned Lead Computer Vision Engineer with deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying advanced computer vision systems. The individual will play a pivotal role in driving computer vision projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring robust deployment of CV solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.

Job Purpose

The Lead Computer Vision Engineer will shape Eternal Robotics’ technology roadmap by developing, optimizing, and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms while ensuring seamless integration with web platforms, industrial systems, and cloud environments. This role requires both strong technical depth and proven leadership in guiding teams toward delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Project Management

  • Spearhead end-to-end computer vision projects, ensuring scalability, robustness, and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage project delivery timelines and ensure solutions meet organizational and client requirements.

Technical Development and Innovation

  • Design and optimize computer vision algorithms using Python, OpenCV, and DeepStream .
  • Research and adopt emerging CV/AI methodologies to enhance solution capabilities.

Web Development and Integration

  • Ensure seamless integration of CV solutions into web platforms.
  • Collaborate with web development teams and provide APIs and technical support.

Cloud & On-Premise Deployment

  • Lead deployment of CV solutions on AWS or on-premise infrastructure .
  • Define strategies for data storage, retrieval, and scalable computation.
  • Ensure compliance, security, and cost-efficiency in deployment.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Conduct one-on-ones, team syncs, and reviews to guide performance and growth.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and customers to translate requirements into actionable CV solutions.
  • Ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration across technology teams.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce testing protocols to ensure robustness and reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards in AI model development and deployment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6–8+ years of proven experience in computer vision development and project leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, OpenCV, DeepStream; strong exposure to cloud computing (AWS preferred).
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading CV/AI teams and delivering production-grade solutions.
