Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director-Landscape to lead and manage the landscape design studio for a New Delhi based Architecture and Design firm. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with expertise in landscape architecture, design management, and team leadership.


Responsibilities

The Director will oversee the design vision, technical execution, and overall success of landscape projects, with a focus on high-quality design that aligns with the company’s objectives and client needs.


Leadership and Strategy:

  • Lead and manage a team of landscape architects, designers, and external consultants to deliver innovative and sustainable landscape designs.
  • Establish and communicate design vision, goals, and strategies across projects to ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives and client requirements.


Landscape Design

  • Lead the design process from concept development through to construction documentation and project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, urban planners, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate landscape design with architectural and environmental planning.


Project Management and Oversight

  • Conduct regular design reviews and collaborate with clients and project teams to refine and finalize design concepts.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets, ensuring that design milestones and deadlines are met.


Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision and translating it into design solutions.



Qualifications


Education:

• B. Arch. / M. Arch. in Landscape Architecture

Experience:

• At least 10 years of professional experience in landscape design, with a focus on high-profile, large-scale projects.

• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing design teams and client relationships.

• Proven expertise in the design, planning, and execution of a diverse range of landscape projects (urban, residential, commercial, etc.).
