Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafting Engineer to join our team for Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant layout preparation, piping layout and mechanical drafting. You will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed technical drawings and layouts for our plant operations. This role requires a hands-on approach and close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and prepare detailed plant layouts, piping layout and mechanical drawings based on project requirements.Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create, modify, and optimize design layouts.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of plant layouts.Review and interpret technical documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, industry practices, and safety regulations.Conduct site visits as needed to gather information for accurate drafting and layout preparation.Participate in project meetings and provide input on mechanical layout considerations.Maintain and update drawing databases and documentation to reflect changes and modifications.Assist in the development of new plant layouts and improvements to existing designs.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: 5-6 years of experience in mechanical drafting with a focus on plant layout preparation.Technical Skills:Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Strong understanding of mechanical systems, plant operations, and manufacturing processes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in industrial plant layout design, particularly in manufacturing or processing facilities.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices.Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in plant operations.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a portfolio of relevant work to with the subject line "Application for Mechanical Drafting Engineer - Uttarakhand."
